E1750 PMD 620 Raven matching

Two questions: Where are the controls for bit rate and frequency ? Using a Marantz PMD 620 into an E1750 for analyzing sound with Cornell’s Raven program, what bit rate and frequency choices are best for accuracy at the Raven program? Marantz allows 41 or 48 hz with 24 sampling. How and where to adjust the analog output so the analog output duplicates the Marantz’ analog output sound ? 

In the present case, the Marantz sound accurately reproduces the sound recorded, the E1750 does not. The missing frequencies are not in a range outside the capacities of a boombox.

Is using a lab sound spectrum CD for referencing PMD 620 to E1750 possible given the E1750 audio controls ? 

Are upgrades for these processes possible ?
