Factory settings

I have just bought my friends Inspiron 15r with windows 8 and wanted to reset it to factory settings. I followed the instructions and now it is stuck on the Restarting screen. I picked the long version to make sure all of his stuff was deleted. Is being stuck on the restarting screen normal and how long is this suppose to take?

  • How long have it been stuck at the restarting screen?
  • Did you you try Windows 8 reset or refresh?
  • Please refer to the thread for resetting the computer to the factory settings.
