Hi,

First thing I would recommend is running the system diagnostics to see if the fan is responding at all.  Here is a link to the product support pages for the n7110. There are links to the diagnostics on that bottom of that page, and it will also explain how to run the onboard diagnostics as well.

Depending on what is causing the fan to stop spinning, it could be dust, etc., here is a link to the service manual for the n7110.   If the fan is clogged due to dust you may simply be able to blow it out with a can of compressed air.  The service guide will show you how to remove the battery, keyboard, etc., on that system to manually clean the fan.  Or replace it if needed.

Lastly, there is a link to a video showing how to clean the fan on a laptop, but not specifically the n7110.  It will give you a general idea on how to approach cleaning and/or replacing the fan.

Let me know if any of this helps.

Todd
