Function F2---Disable Wireless?

I'm trying to synch a TiVo N Adapter to my LinkSys wireless router and TiVo tech support says that my Dell 1440 is not allowing this function to work.  WPS is not working and I was told to manually synch with 192.168.10.1, but Dell keeps looking for a website with that address----does not take me to the TiVo setup wizard.  Help? Nearly complete Dummy here.  Thanks, Kathy

192.168.1.1 is the Linksys home page that you need to get to (not 192.168.10.1).This is the set up page for your linksys router.Once you log in the username is always left blank, and in the password type admin. That is the default for all linksys routers.Once on go to the wireless tab>then wireless security. Not sure why you would have to do that though all you have to do is fill in the routers security key(on the TIVO's set up screen ) to link with your home network.

Hi, Thanks for your help.

When I do as you describe, it will not let me go forward without a username.

192.168.10.1 is the address for the TiVo set up wizard.  I've accomplished it once before on this Dell when the WPS button wouldn't work between the devices (N Adapter), but now it just says the site is taking too long to respond and times out.  Kathy

BTW, when I call LinkSys for help, they want $40 before they will give you an answer.
