hard drive test failure
I just did a hard drive test on my dell 1545 laptop using pc check up through dell support center and it failed the targeted read test with error code WHD20-Se7, and smart short test, with error code WHD16-8C2 can anyone tell what this means and is it serious, my laptop is still under warranty

First, make sure you have a backup of any important data. Second, call Support for a replacement.

It means nothing - run the Dell diagnostics (NOT the PC checkup) -- F12 at powerup to get to the diags. If you see an error there, it is serious - the one you now see likely is not.
