I wanted to know if the heat sink of Dell Vostro 1015 is compatible with Dell Vostro 1088. Please help me out.

Hi garusic,
Welcome to the Community,
These two systems do not use the same heat sink.
Heatsink Dell part number for this two system model is given below:
Dell Vostro 1015: CD0RJ
Dell Vostro 1088: GYF42

Thanks for the answer but can I manage to install the heat sink of Vostro 1015 in Vostro 1088 leaving a connection open . Will the laptop be functional ?

Hi garusic,
I cannot confirm if the laptop would be functional, as I haven't come across any one who has tried it.
