HELP PLEASE ! The NVIDIA K1000M card in my M4700 Precision just stopped working

Hi There everyone, I am hoping for some assistance. Im nearly in panic mode .

Ihave a Precision M4700 that has a Nvidia K1000M GPU as well as the integrated intel GPU.

While using an external display via display port, all of a sudden the external monitor stopped working while i was working in Ableton (music making software). I had not changed any settings.

At first i thought it might have been a driver issue (mybe windows installed something in the background without me knowing).

I ran a full diagnostic and my only issue was the battery is getting close to the end of its life. I did note however that the diagnostics only saw the integrated intel gpu.

so then  i removed the old NVIDIA  drivers and tried to reinstall new drivers from dell and nvidia. neither would work as they said no hardware was found.

I then assumed my NVIDIA video had blown up, so I ordered a new one and installed it using all the antistatic procedures required.

I still have the exact same issues with the new card , dell system scan still finds nothing wrong.

Device manager only shows the intel chip

I have no idea what to try next so hoping, no praying for some assistance please.

Oh yeah i tried turning opimus off in the bios and recanned everything, no change in outcome.

Kind Regards

Matt
