how to replace latitude c800 lcd screen
my lcd screen went out on my laptop or at least the backlight did. l/t works fine when connected to an external monitor. Anyway, I ordered a lcd screen for my c800. How do I replace it?

Remove the battery and unplug any power supply.
Remove the (6) rubber bumpers that cover the screws and set them aside.
Remove the (6) screws holding the bezel onto the lid and set them aside.
Remove the bezel. (It snaps on. Be careful to not break it. I start on the sides and work my way around...)
Remove the (6) screws that hold the LCD in place. (3 on each side)
Pull the LCD forward and place it face down on the keyboard.
Remove both ribbon cables from the back of the LCD.
Lift the LCD off of the keyboard and place it out of the way.
Reverse these steps to install the new LCD.
