Inspirion e1505 display

Question

When I go idle for a long time, my display turns itself off to save power(not hibernate or standby, I only put close monitor to save power). However, sometimes when I move the mouse to reopen monitor, it doesn't reopen. The only way to make it reopen is to close lid and reopen...anyone know how to fix this?

I actually have the same problem as you. I didn't know closing and opening the lid would fix it, though. I ought to try that.
