Inspiron 11 3000 series keyboard not working/sometime working

Just sharing...My keyboard stopped working one day. It sometimes worked when I started the computer but stopped working after that. I followed instructions, and updated the drivers to no avail. On youtube I saw a few video regarding problems with windows 10 and the keyboard not working. I had installed windows 10 about a month before my keyboard stopped working. The video states you must go to the settings, ease of access, and keyboard.  Within keyboard you just change the various switches as instructed. I restarted my computer and to my amazement it worked. I'm just putting it out there should anyone be facing the same problem.

Thanks so much!  My "1", "q:, "a", "z' keys and Caps Lock keys were not working or intermittent, Dell thought I needed a keyboard and wanted $159.00 plus tax to fix it. Local Computer guy wanted $120 to replace keyboard. Followed the video they seemed to work but then after reboot intermittent/difficult working. Upon further research, this seems to be a consistent problem with these notebooks!  It is a design flaw? Should be a recall from Dell to correct this. *** problem that they know about! This laptop is still sold today so if they fixed the know issue, shame on them for not correcting it with previous owners, and or informing them!

The same keys don't work on my 11 3000 laptop.  I just tried the changes suggested by the video above--all it did was slow down my keystrokes and cause them to beep.

I've found the keys must be activated sometime late in the boot process.  Three or four minutes after booting, all the keys seem to work fine.  Of course that is not acceptable.  I may be replacing my laptop with an android tablet in the not too distant future.  I'll still have my desktop for the heavy stuff.
