inspiron 1545 integrated webcam not working
Hallo. I have a brand new Inspiron 1545 and the integrated webcam is not working - I deinstalled and reinstalled the drivers and Web Cam Central and it worked, but every tima only for few Minutes and by new start, no chance! Has somebody found the solution? Thanks!

Having the same problem with same model laptop inspiron 1545 not detecting webcam, tried your suggestion to savoirfaire, but it has not worked,says plug in a supported device, help i'm running up a wall here, tried just about everything i can think of then some with nu results , don't want an external webcam

Do you have anything plugged into any of the USB ports...like a mouse? If so, try to unplug, reboot, and see if it works. No clue why but that's what worked for me.

Did you recently install/reinstall the operating system? If yes, did you install the drivers i the correct order? How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order
Try reading...
Troubleshooting the Dell Webcam and Dell Webcam Central Software
Also try running the Webcam Diagnostics
Did the webcam show in the symptom tree?
Any error messages?
Is the computer under warranty?
