maseeh16,
Here are the Vista Creative Labs 1.3MP Camera Drivers for the Dell Inspiron 1545. Try installing the Vista drivers in the Vista Compatibility mode
Windows 7 is supposed to provide the drivers for the webcam but it doesn't always install.

Greetings,
did anyone find a solution to this nonsense I tried deferent things and I still can’t get my cam to work, and I’m using Dell INSPIRON 1545 on Windows7 64-bit, and for the love of god don’t go tell me to install web cam central, It’s not that I don’t know how to get the cam working, the cam isn’t working in the first place I need a driver like (Creative Labs 1.3MP Camera Rev: A00) but computable with windows7 64-Bit. If you don’t have that please save my time because I’m sick of trying stuff that not related to my issue, and I believe its everyone’s problem here.

Alaa-adwan,
Can you click on the blue PudgyOne and on the next page, click start conversation. Can you please provide me with the service tag number of your computer. I have a friend at Dell that is trying to document which system have the webcam come loose, inside.
SERVICE TAG NUMBERS CANNOE BE POSTED IN THE FORUMS AS IT CONTAINS PERSONAL INFORMATION AND IS AGAINST Dells Terms of Use (TOU)
Thanks,
Rick

Alaa-adwan,
Thanks. I managed to get the service tag before it was removed.

Vlad1982,
Try posting your problem in the Using and Troubleshooting the Dell Webcam and Dell Webcam Central Software thread.

I believe the only way to resolve this issue is to simply disconnect the webcam and the reconnect it. When that happens, the driver auto detects and installs. You can disconnect the webcam by unscrewing the bezel from your screen. From there, you will see where the webcam connects. Just disconnect it (I did it with the power on) and reconnect it. Presto!!! Works like a charm.
