Inspiron 6000 Bleutooth wireless capability

Hello!

I was hoping if anybody can help me out on what type/brand of a wireless bluetooth handsfree set I should buy. I have an Inspiron 6000 and I noticed that there is a bluetooth icon beside the wi/fi and caps lock. I saw a belkin wireless handsfree but wondering if this will work.

Do I need to have  the dell truemobile 350 software? Hope you can help me.

Don't know about the handsfree, but you will need to have a software installed (regardless which one you use) for Bluetooth to operate correctly.

I use two.  One is an original Jabra 200 the other is the Jabra 250.  According to people I talk with over my VoIP softphone on my iXPS, voice quality is fine (although most say they prefer the Wired Plantronics USB most likely because the Mic is directly in front of my lips.)

And yes, Mr Volcano is quite correct that you have to have the BT software drivers installed just to use the Bluetooth features (regardless of headset, keyboard, mice, phone, etc)

My apologies to both Messrs Volcano and Esquire. My previous post should have referenced Mr Esquire's contribution.
