There is no dock available for the Inspiron 6000 - these typically plug into a dedicated socket on the rear or underside of a laptop and provide video/keyboard/mouse/etc ports all through the single connector. What you can buy from many manufacturers is a USB port expander.
I have used a Belkin DockStation which (despite its name) provides 4xUSB, 1xParallel, 1xSerial and 2xPS/2 ports. Mine is an old USB1.1 model F5U120-PC whereas now you should look for a USB2.0 model especially if it provides USB hub functionality. The current Belkin model is Part # F5U216au.
