Latitude E4300 and win 10.

I really want to get my free upgrade to windows 10, but its not been tested by Dell to run properly.

I did upgrade to windows 10 but had to re install windows 7 because I had several issues with it, yet, when it did work, I loved windows 10.

Will the Latitude E4300 ever be tested for windows 10 compatibility?

 mrnace,

Unforuntately, there are no plans to certify the Latitude E4300 with Windows 10.

The laptop may not be certified to work with Windows 10 but I've found it to work perfectly, you will need to install all drivers available from Dell using Windows 7 64 bit drivers (unless you run 32 bit) and it should work fine. If you have access to another computer you can use it to help guide with dual boot as  you may be able to dual boot the operating systems if you still need Windows 7. The only driver you will need and is not from Dell is Intel GMA 4500 graphics. Strange but the driver that is supposed to be for the lenovo g550 will work on the system. The reason you will need this driver especially for Windows 10 is if you plan on playing any games or using applications that use open to (IE Minecraft) but other than that it will work great.
