My dell won`t start
Hi all,
Last night i restarted my laptop and it just did not come back on. The power light is on and I can hear the hard drive fan. The screen stays black and nothing Happens. What can be the problem?

Anita,
Restart the computer and try running the diagnstic partition. Report back any error messages.

How can i do that?
The laptop won`t start at all. The power comes on and i can hear the hard drives fan but nothing else is happening. The screen stays black. It seems like its not starting the system or something.

See if you can get an image on an external monitor.
