Need a USB Driver for Inspiron 600m

My itouch is not being recognized by Windows. I keep getting a message USB device not recognized. I have tried to update, reinstall the driver from the Device Manager with no luck. I tried to look for the driver in the Dell Driver Downloads with the tag number for my Laptop with little luck.

By the way I reinstalled Itunes as well with no luck. It is the USB DRIVER that I need.

Help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

If the iTouch is not being recognized it's not the Windows USB drivers, but rather either the Apple drivers or that it is "out of sync" with Windows.

The Windows USB drivers are generic Microsoft drivers.  However, USB connected devices can get "out of sync" with Windows and when this occurs you have to connect the device to the PC then go to the Device Manager and usually there will be an "unknown device" or if the device is shown it will have an error.  With the device connected, uninstall it in the Device Manager (right click on the device entry and then Left click Uninstall).  Then disconnect the device and restart the PC.  After Windows finishes installing, connect the device and Windows should detect and reinstall it.

When you remove the device from the PC, only do it through iTunes
