PCI Simple Communications Controller Driver for D610

Hello,

I recently reinstalled Windows XP Pro on a Latitude D610.  However, there was no Resource CD which is what I have always used to reinstall apps and drivers.  I went to the website and downloaded all I could but there is one device left that I am not sure what it is or what driver to get for it.  Can anyone please point me in the right direction to get the driver for this device?  Thanks.

That line in Device manager is from a Modem lacking the proper driver. It should be on the download page for the D610 in Dell Support.

I did download and install the modem driver.  Is there another item on the list that I should download?  The utility or the diagnostic utility?  Thanks for the help.

Download and install the Intel Chipset driver. Then reinstall the modem driver

Looks like this is actually the Texas Instruments PCI 6515 Cardbus driver that is needed.
Atleast I was looking for the same thing and appears installing this driver did the trick.
You can find this driver on the previous link:

I realize this is an old post, but I see a lot of continuing interest in this problem; and I'd just like to offer the solution that worked for me just recently.

I agree with Penns:  you need a driver for the TI PCIx515 Cardbus Controller.

I'm running XP Pro, so I loaded driver R88093 (suggested by someone in another post in this Forum), and it removed the problem with the "missing" PCI Simple Communications Controller Driver, and installed a device/driver under PCMCIA for a TI PCIx515 Cardbus Controller.  My PCMCIA slot, modem, WiFi (Intel 2200bg) and BT (355) all are working perfectly.
