***Processor Start Failure*** (on C600)
" ***Processor Start Failure*** The revision of motherboard does not support the processor installed." I am getting the error message after replacing a damaged C600 board with a new one using the same processor (on my C600).
Have tried to re-flash the bios but the system will always power down (F2 will power down and so will F4).
Any idea on the key combination?
Also:
Info: The person I bought the C600 motherboard from stated that the Dell website lists compatible/supported processors as:
Intel® Pentium® III 1.0 GHz processor with SpeedStepTM 1 technology
Intel® Pentium® III 850 MHz processor with SpeedStepTM 1 technology
Intel® Pentium® III 750 MHz processor with SpeedStepTM 1 technology
Which of the 1.0 GHz processors is supported? – Anyone got any ideas?

What is the solution?
Which processors will be supported?
How do I find out?
