Question to 1920 x 1200 resolution

Helle,

last week I got my Studi 1530 with the resolution 1920 x 1200.

I also wanted to try the resolution 1440 x 900.

But if I choose this, my picture gets smaller.

The picture isn't on the whole screen.

How can I fill the whole screen?

Thanks Steve

Hello,

thank you for your answer.

But when I press FN+F7 in lower resolution, there doesn't happen anything.

On my F7 isn't any symbol...

Is there any other method to zoom?

Thanks..

Best regards

At the lower resolution you can press FN+F7 to Zoom the display to full screen but you may not like the results.  LCD panels will only display crisp sharp images at their native resolutions.  Anything less and they look blurry and washed out.

Good Luck....

Have you tried installing the new Dell ATI Catalyst drivers for the Studio 1535 and 1735.  They add a few more missing display resolutions and improve dual external monitor support.  It also fixes all (including 1440 x 900) but one of the scaling errors (1920 x 1080) between 1280 x 1024 and 1920 x 1200. It should work for all version of Vista.

Studio ATI Drivers

If you want tro see how 1440 x 900 looks in like full screen, then you need to click and install the drivers on above Dell link.
