Recovery (D:)
I have a Dell Vista 1525 running MS Vista Home Premium.
The hard drive appears partitioned(?) into OS(C:) and Recovery (D:). What is the purpose of this and is there anything I should do?
Thanks

Hi prosperve, The idea behind the Recovery D, is to allow you to take the system back to the factory state in the event of an crash or an virus that damages your system.
EDIT: Im a slow typer.

Recovery (invoked by F8 before Windows loads) will return the operating system to the way it was when you took the system out of the box.
