Sound Driver for Windows 7 on Dell vostro 1400 with 100% work

I am new to this Dell forums. I have just installed Windows 7 on a Vostro 1400 and am having sound issues. I could not find the the registry file everyone was talking about. Any help would be appreciated. It is for the SIGMATEL audio.

i recently bought dell v3446(20 days back) and my friend bought dell W560371IN9 six months back,

both have stereo speaker with waves maxx audio,

when i play the same video on both laptops, dell W560371IN9 gives far more sound with than dell v3446. Even with vlc player sound fully set to 200% , dell v3446 give very less sound than dell W560371IN9.

when i put headphone , dell 3446 gives less sound.

kindly tell what to do

dear sir, i need registry file. please send me on civjtn@gmail.com  . i have a dell vostro 1400 laptop . its sound is working with headphone but no sound coming in laptop speakers. please give me a solution for it. will b thankful for this.
