Trying to mirror 24" monitor with e1505 laptop
I bought the dell 24" 2407WFP monitor for the purpose of using it as the primary display with the e1505 as my primary computer. I was told I could do it if I bought the best graphics card they offered, so I got the 256MB ATI MOBILITY RADEON X1400 HyperMemory, for Inspiron 6400/E1505, but it won't mirror the monitor. I can only "extend" it as a second display. The option to "Use this device as the primary monitor" is grayed out in Display Settings. Is there a solution? I want to use the 24" as the primary display, not the notebook's monitor. Thank you...

extend the Windows desktop onto the monitor. Click on the "Advanced"
button on the Display Properties Settings tab. This brings up a dialog
box with many tabs. Select the Displays tab. On this tab, set the monitor
