Upgraded CPU - flashed the bios, now STUCK!
I'm getting that "" For internal use only , bios must be upgraded prior to customer use. " message only when I turn on my latitude CP... I did the TR4 bios flash, now I can't boot off of a floppy or CDrom... it just keeps flashing that message... is there a way to 'reset' the bios or cmos or whatever?? (like move a pin, or pull out a battery) - or am I totally messed up & need a new chip???
HELP!!!

Ok, I had an idea & put the orginal CPU in, and it actually lets me boot from the floppy at least to an a: prompt (using win98 boot).... what should I do now?
Is there a way to "reflash" the bios back to where it was, because now during reboot it says my HD isn't recoginzed & might need to be partitioned, etc... Maybe the new CPU chip was bad?
