Wireless network connection

Hey,

Im trying to set up an ad-hoc connection to share internet between my laptop and another laptop but it will not let me turn my internet connection sharing on, when i go into adapter settings my wireless network connection has a red 'X' next to it and if I run the diagnostics its tells me 'problem with wireless adapter or access point' and I cannot connect to any wireless connections either, i have an internal Dell Wireless 1702 802.11 b/g/n on windows 7 home premium edition, Please help!! All drivers are up to date and I am using a Del N7110.

Hi Cheez11,

It seems that the wireless radio is not enabled and the system is not connected to any wireless connection.

To turn on the wireless you may press + .

You may use Windows Mobility Center in the control panel to check the status of the wireless connection.

Keep me posted with the findings. I will be glad to assist further.

Hi Cheez11,

Please share the screenshots of ‘Adapter settings’ where red X is coming and of ‘Device Manager’ with ‘Network adapters’ expended.

Keep me posted with the information. I will be glad to assist further.
