XPS M1330 boot memory error
When I boot this system I get this message:
The amount of System Memory has changed
If you did not change your memory...
To resolve this issue, try to re-seat the memory.
Then I get no other buttons to continue, It gives me the error before I can boot to BIOS or to the system diagnostics, any ideas? I've tried other memory I have that works and I get the same message (although that memory is actually a different amount.)

Reseat (remove and reinstall) both memory modules. Then run a diagnostic (F12 at powerup). If one module fails, note which (1 or 2) and swap the two. Re-test. If the failure follows the module, replace the faulty module. If the failure occurs with either module in the same socket, it's the socket that's bad - replace the mainboard.

I re-seated both modules, and then booted up. When I pressed F12 It shows a message saying it is loading the boot menu but then when it gets to the point where it should load the menu it goes right to the error message about the memory. The same thing happens if I try and press F2 for BIOS, it says loading setup and then it goes directly to the error.

Try the modules one at a time in each socket until you isolate the bad module (or socket).
