Hopefully a simple question
If anyone does not feel comfortable answering the question on the board, then please feel free to email it to me privately.
I am looking at doing medical transcriptioning from my home. Because of all of the security requirements to keep patients files from being randomly accessed, I am looking at getting a laptop with the biometric security. One major question. If one would burn their finger (or have a similar injury that would distort finger prints) how would that affect the security of the computer? If it is solely relying on fingerprints, then how would one access their computer if the fingerprints are no longer what they were when the security was first established?
Thank you for your response.
