Do you get any error message while using this app or while installation?
gboxapp is a gadget which is compatible with Windows Vista and Windows 7. Windows 8 does not have the gadgets feature. While doing some research, I came across this workaround. You can try the steps mentioned in this video. It might be helpful.
There is no issue with dell. Gboxapp is compatible with window 7 if your dell laptop has any different O.S. Then it will not work on you laptop. For more detail you should go to search.gboxapp.com.
