If Bluetooth pairing fails
If the pairing of the Bluetooth device fails, check to see if the device is listed as a Bluetooth device that can be added. Do this by selecting the Bluetooth icon in the task bar and then select Add a Device. If the device is not shown, it probably was previously paired, but the connection has been lost (due to a failed battery, for example). After the battery has been replaced, follow the following steps:
1) Check to see if the blue tooth device is listed as a wireless device by selecting the Bluetooth icon in the task bar and then selecting Show Bluetooth Devices. If the Bluetooth device is listed, select it and then select Remove device.
2). Ensure the Bluetooth device has been made discoverable. Once the Bluetooth device has been made discoverable, click the Bluetooth icon again and then select Add a Device. The device icon should be visible in the Add a Device window. Select the device and then follow the Bluetooth Wizard pairing instructions.
Note: If Bluetooth Icon is not available in your Task Bar, search community forum or Dell driver/downloads to find appropriate driver for your machine that will install Bluetooth Icon on Task Bar.
