IR port

Question

Hi. I recently realized that I have (lol) and infrared port on my computer, and I would like to use it to set up wireless internet to my PDA. Is this even possible, I am unfarmilliar with infrared networking (as you can probably tell), and would appreciate help. Thanks

It might help to know which specific system model you're talking about, as well as the operating system you have installed, but for starters, have you tried referring to your User Guide for basic setup instructions?

I didnt think so. Thanks.... Sorry, I cant stand when people do that either... Its a lattitude c640, and the manual doesnt say much at all about the IR port. Thanks
