Check the seating and connections on the Harddrive and Caddy. Then using a W98 Boot disk, boot into DOS to the A: Prompt and enter Fdisk. If you cannot access the drive and get a message "No Fixed Disks present", the harddrive is shot and will need replacing. If you can access the drive, Esc out to an A:\Prompt and try typing Sys C: and entering it. If no help, back to the A: Prompt and type Scandisk C:. Let it do the surface scan of your drive. If it refuses to run or aborts part way through, replace the drive. ________________________________________________________________
