Trouble with a used lap top
Hello all. I recently bought a used dell Latitude Lap top and The previous owner did not take off their information like log in and password. They moved and i have no way to contact them,
I can not get into the computer because if this .
Do any of you know how i can over ride the previous admin info?

You bought a laptop without using it to know that there is a login password?
Hard to believe.
If you are referring to the Windows login password, you can try doing a Factory Restore.

Is there an option to' sign in as a different user?' You may be able to sign in as a different user, and then, make changes. You may also be able to go in under" safe mode.' I believe it is the F8 key you tap several times to get into safe mode. I do not know if this works, but you can try it- Good luck!
