7280 and 7290 - Same Displays?

Hello there!

I got a defective 7280 here. Fried board, display ok. I also got a 7290 here, display panel defective. You might guess where I'm getting at. But to say it: Will the nice 7280 FullHD touch display fit on the 7290? It would be nice to get at least one working machine out of this. The 7290 got a i7-8650U, the 7280 an i7-7600U, if that matters.

According to Parts-People here and here, the screens for both are identical. You can go to their site and type in your service tag number to confirm compatibility.
