Add Finger Print Reader to 7490
Is it possible to add a finger print reader to a 7490 that didn't come with one? Maybe just add a new button and necessary software or replace the top cover with the finger print reader in it and add necessary software?

Hi jojeeka,
The system model L7490 supports fingerprint, it is an optional hardware one can choose to install. However, making hardware changed in a in warranty system can void the warranty Dell doesn't recommend doing so. Hence you can reach out to any of the local Dell authorized service center to have it installed with the required hardware components.
