Install Realtek High Definition Audio Driver followed by Waves MaxxAudio Pro Application

If you performed a clean install of Windows, you need first to install Intel Chipset Device Software and Intel Management Engine Components

October 2024 update
updated windows operating system to version 11 Professional 64bit
bios 1.33.0, which is the latest available. I installed following the instructions above but without success
no sound is heard from the speakers or headphones connected to the jack

P.S.
Uninstalling the Realtek drivers Windows independently installs the Microsoft generic
HD audio drivers;
in this case the notebook audio works, unfortunately after the restart, windows update
replaces these with realtek 6.0.9147.1 drivers causing the audio functionality to be lost again

@ohbelisk Hello, did you manage to fix the problem? I have the same issue in windows 11, I follow the steps and the sound works but after a reboot i get prompted to finish installing the driver and whatever i do i lose the audio again.

@ohbelisk I have the same problem, let me know if you were able to solve it because now when I uninstall the sound driver the keyboard stops working (I don't even understand why), and I have to update the bios to make it work again, please let me know if you were able to fix it.

Good morning
The audio problem, to tell you the truth, pretty much solved itself.
what I mean, the notebook was born with windows 10, being compatible with windows 11 I made the version switch

With windows 11 my mistake was to install dell audio drivers downloaded from the web portal.... probably the installer, while containing windows10/11 compatible drivers wrote wrong information somewhere that version 11 misinterpreted.
I finally did so and solved it:
1) uninstalled the drivers, totally eliminating the device via “device manager”
2) restarted windows
3) still with device manager I performed new device detection
windows
4) automatically installed the drivers and, via windows update which updated Max Audio Pro wave

P.S. all of this was exactly one year ago, I performed several BIOS updates via dell update but did not find any other problems
try using device manager also for the keyboard issue
