Audio inputs and outputs: "Remote Audio"

We had the end-user of a new Latitude 7430 report an audio issue, where they could only seem to get sound when they applied pressure to the far right of the Touchpad.  I popped the lid and found that the speaker connection on the motherboard wasn't seated properly.  And while this restored sound to the "BIOS," Windows still wouldn't comply...

When I pulled up the Device Manager, the only input / output I had was this "Remote Audio."  No matter what I threw at it, I couldn't get this to change...and I finally reimaged this laptop.  Only then did the audio inputs & outputs return.

Thoughts?
