Battery not charging when plugged in

Hi guys

I need some help (please be gentle as I'm not an IT expert!)

Earlier this week my webcam stopped working- after running dell updates all was good on that front.

However it seems like this update has stopped my battery charging , it shows zero percent and not charging.

I've run various diagnostics and nothing seem a miss

Any suggestions please?

Go into setup (F2 at powerup). What model system is this (it will show there -- Latitude E5530, 7240, etc.)?

While in there, look for the AC adapter setting -- does it show with its power rating, or does it show "unknown" or "not installed"?
