Bios Password Reset for E7A8 on dell Latitude 3300

Hello Dell Community, i am new to this community, and recently i have been having issues with resetting the dell bios password with a master password, but the issue is, I cannot find a bios password generator that will find the Password for <Private data removed from public view. DELL-Admin> E7A8. I have tried replacing the suffix with BF97 and several others, but I could not figure this out. If anyone knows the password or can help me, I would deeply appreciate that

The only legitimate way is to call Dell with verification of ownership.  They will generate a master password to unlock the system.

This assumes the system has the orginal mainboard/service tag.  If that's been changed, you're out of luck.

If this was a used purchase, insist the seller provide either the password or a refund. Otherwise, budget the cost of replacing the mainboard into your purchase price, since that's what you'll need.

Welcome to the Dell Community @Dredgen_Cyka

If you search there are a few places that can provide the " Master Password " ( $35+ )

But that laptop also has an option in the BIOS to lock out the " Master Password "

Master Password Lockout

Allows you to disable master password support.

  • Enable Master Password Lockout

This option is not set by default.

If someone enabled this option the you would need to replace the system board.

Best regards,

U2

NOTE:

This option comes from the factory and some BIOS updates add this option to older system.
