Bluetooth Techies- Could this Bluetooth audio-only bypass the ControlVault jamming?
Yes, I'm still trying to get my new-to-me E6430 with the finger-swipe Dell Control Vault software to play my music through my UE Boom 2 speaker without having to run a 10 foot cord across the floor for people to trip on.
The device description says it "doesn't appear as a bluetooth device", but as an aux audio device, so I presume it doesn't receive bluetooth, so by no stretch of the imagination should it be a sneaky, bluetooth hacker vector, right?

Those of you who know more about bluetooth than I do, what do you think?? Worth a try?
I like being able to sign in with my fingerprint, but I want to play my music through something that sounds a bit better than 3/4" speakers. I expect that with all of these older E6430s flooding the market of late that other folks would like a work-around, too.
Thanks for any wisdom you can share on this.

Well, the answer is no. Sending the signal out the USB to a bluetooth dongle doesn't circumvent the nearfield jammer, either. I even removed and reinstalled the Dell Secure Vault diver package without the nearfield jammer part of the software. Still no cigar.
It is clear at this point that software is unlikely to turn off the nearfield jammer.
If I do manage to stop the jammer, it will be because I figure out the physical location of the transmitter and physically disable it.
Does anyone know if the fingerprint scanner board is different in these E6430 models and perhaps has the jammer on board with it? Or just have any pcb prints or schematics for it?
If anyone has any information on silencing or just plain breaking the jammer so I can play music over bluetooth, please be so kind and share it. Cutting a track or deleting a component would be just fine .

Here is a screen shot of the bluetooth jammer as it shows up in the Bluetooth section of control panel.
