Boot menu in LATITUDE E7440

Hello,

I am trying to download Linux ubuntu on my Dell Latitude E7440.

I read online that I can access the boot menu by pressing F12, but on startup, when I do, nothing happens.

I clicked it multiple times all throughout the process and repeated it several times but nothing happens, it just boots up normally!

Please help me

Welcome to the Dell Community @Hans Carlo Sirch

Try disconnecting the AC adapter, Main battery and CMOS coin-cell battery.

Hold power button down for 3-5 seconds then reassemble.

Best regards,

I followed this guide to install Linux ubuntu, however, at precisely 4 minutes and 45 seconds he says to press F10 to open the boot menu. If I press F2 there is also some sort of "menu" that pops up, however, I am clueless on what to change.

Please help me run Linux Ubuntu
