Cannot make files in C drive
Latitude E6520
I'm trying to install a game into my C drive but it wont let me. I am the only person that uses this pc and I'm the Administrator, so why cant i make a file? The files also say read only and I dont know why.

This thread at the MS forum may help. I would also suggest installing and running Malwarebytes in order to check the system for any viruses or malware. That free program version is available here.

ok the files are read only np. But I cant add any files to my C drive and the solution u posted didn't work. I tried to change permissions and when i clicked to confirm the changes, I got an error message that said something about Error Applying Security and C:\DumpStack.log.tmp I don't know what this is, but my guess is its not a good thing.
