Cellular disappears.
Latitude 5430
We have been running into an issue with our Latitude 5410, 5420, and 5430 model laptops, as well as the Precision 3480 models, where the cellular option disappears. We have run Dell Command Update on numerous devices in these model ranges to confirm that BIOS and all drivers are up to date, but we keep running into this issue.
It's most noticeable when the laptop has been undocked from one of the WD19/WD19S docks that we use in our environment. Dell Command Update has been run while docked to ensure that the dock has received all firmware updates.
The only remedy we currently have is to restart the laptop when cellular disappears. This is not ideal due to the potential loss of work and, to be honest, it's incredibly frustrating to find out that you have no cellular after you've already left the building and are remote.
It should be noted that restarting doesn't always ensure that cellular comes back up and it doesn't 100% guarantee that it's not going to disappear again. One of my end users had it disappear after her laptop idled and locked her out, and she absolutely needed to have cellular to testify in a court case.
Any assistance by anyone would be greatly appreciated. I've gone through the forum a little bit and wasn't really able to find anything that could resolve this issue.

We are having the exact same issue with our Latitude and Ultrabook models. Most are effected in our environment, and we have over 2000 laptop user's. My It team has attempt several available FW, drivers to not resolve. Have tried latest modem Users still have to reboot for the Verizon card to show again. This is unacceptable issue that effects a wide range of Enterprise Dell laptops. Why hasn't there been any resolve to this major flaw form Dell please?

@Taron432
My question has sat here for months, unanswered. I'm starting the process of getting this brought up my chain of command so we can get this resolved.
If I end up getting a solution to this problem, I'll come back to this thread and tag you so you can get an answer as well.

We have the same issue with our inventory Dell Latitude 5420 rugged or 5430 rugged. The best solution I have found is below. But it is still inconsistent and at times will drop the cellular. But it does seem to correct it more often than not. This is from another thread on this from the Latitude team.
Ensure that the latest drivers are installed.
Dell Wireless 5821e/Qualcomm Snapdragon X20 LTE Firmware and GNSS Driver
Latitude 5420 BIOS 1.10.0
* Only uninstall the old drivers using the Windows Apps & features and not from the Device Manager
* Device Manager changes =
- Disable/Uncheck the “Allow Windows to Turn off this device to save power” on the WWAN card
* Windows Power Management change =
- Advanced Options > USB Selective Suspend – Disable

@Philiphornia Our Latitude 5440 and 5450 do not have those BIOS setting.
We are only having this issue with the 5450 that we just purchased from Dell. Cellular disappearing randomly.
@ryan.williams.PPD any luck yet?
