Cellular network problem
hi dell i have latitude e7440 core i5 please tell how can i use sim card in my e7440? Do i need to install WWAN card? if Yes then please tell me how to install WWAN card in my E7440

Did you install a WWAN card and a SIM that's activated with your cell provider, and install the drivers for the WWAN card?

Unless you installed one, you don't have a WWAN card. Contact your service provider first to see what they support. Then purchase accordingly.

You do need a WWAN card in order to use a cell network.
Before going further, check inside the system for the antenna leads necessary for the adapter -- if those are not present, you either need to consider a USB adapter instead, or will need to replace the display assembly in favor of one having the leads built into it.

To use a WWAN connection, you must have:
1. The internal antenna connections for a WWAN card,
2. A WWAN card that's compatible with whatever cellular data service you subscribe to.
3. A SIM card from your service provider (generally not the same card you use in your phone).
If you need to know what cards you can use, contact your service provider.
I would also suggest that before installing a WWAN card, you contact a good local computer shop that can help you with the installation.
