charger not working

my laptop charger wont work,whenever i turn on the power switch it blinks a few times,then just turns off.It wont charge my laptop,it came with the laptop when it was ordered.The laptop was approved by dell for sale.I tried turning the power on while the charger wasn’t connected to the laptop,same issue.The LED lights on the charger just flashes a few times and stops.i havent spilled any liquids or dropped it,i checked for physical damage,and i cant find any.
