You shouldn't see a firewall update unless your system has one. If it does, you'll need to consult the documentation for the firewall. Click on Find Drivers, and then BIOS update.
download this BIOS file from DELL Support page. Run the downloaded file as admin. Load the main battery and unplug the charger. Check the performance. If it works fine, the charger or the charging plug from the laptop will be faulty. If you still face the same probs, ask Dell for SSD and RAM replacement.

System model? Operating system? If the system is more than a year old, has it had internal cleaning and maintenance?

@ejn63 The computer is not a year old. I have been having this problem since I received new. The problems have gotten worse as time goes by.

You may want to start with a firmware update - there is a newer version than you have.

Apologizes, but I have opened the link you gave me but I am not finding a way to update the firewall.
