To clear NVRAM you just need to remove AC power, battery, and CMOS battery for a few minutes then reconnecting everything back. Access BIOS and adjust settings to match hardware configurations.
To reset RTC, with power connected, just press power button and hold it for 30 seconds, or until the power button light blinks. You need to access BIOS settings to set time and making adjustments as preference.
Pressing Ctrl + Esc keys is a combination for the BIOS recovery process. It would flash the BIOS using the recovery partition on the boot drive. You may have interrupted the process and the system is stuck (or bricked). Review this article and perform the BIOS recovery again, using the available methods for your system https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000132453/how-to-recover-the-bios-on-a-dell-computer-or-tablet
But, on latitude 7420, but reinstalling the battery doesn't solve the problem. Is data for Intel AMT stored in flash memory? Is there any other way to completely erase Intel ME data?
Clearing NVRAM does not change Audit log. Intel AMT is running on Intel Management Engine, part of the processor vPro microprocessor subsystem located on motherboard.

Clearing NVRAM does not change Audit log. Intel AMT is running on Intel Management Engine, part of the processor vPro microprocessor subsystem located on motherboard.
On Dell systems, you can learn more about USB provisioning, BIOS configurations, remote KVM, etc...using Dell Command - Intel vPro out of band in the Dell Client Command Suite.
For AuditLog, check the Intel Open Active Management Technology Cloud Toolkit for supported input and output types.
