Decal/Sticker for palmrests
I have a Latitude E7440 and it's starting to have the issue where the rubber-type material Dell used to line the palmrest area on either side of the trackpad and up the sides, is starting to get somewhat sticky due to its age. Is anyone aware of some kind of decal/sticker i can place over top this so it's easier to clean and rest on? I would prefer not to replace the part because i believe the keyboard is part of the whole thing and there's nothing wrong with that. Any ideas, thanks!

We tried reaching you on a private message asking for the Service Tag number to ascertain the warranty but did not receive a response. Please feel free to reply to the private message whenever you are available.

Dell moderator, or someone that works at Dell.
I have a Vostro 15 7510, I bought it a couple years ago. I have had heating problems for a long time!! The CPU has been running at or over 100°c on several cores. Not all the time, but a lot of times it will run hot! Well, Dell sent me 2 fans and heatsinks for me to change out. That didn't solve it so I had to send it in. That didn't solve the problem so several weeks ago my CPU started to run slow. There were time when all 8 cores of my CPU were at about 100°c. I have ProSupportPlus, and they said they would have a tech here the next day, but I don't have anywhere to have the tech work on it so I sent it to Dell. At first they tech left a message on the repair status website that it was not under warranty, I called and made sure they understood all of the laptop was under warranty and they heating problem was an ongoing problem. The keys on the keyboard were hot and the coating or paint was peeling off the keys! So, they ended up replacing the motherboard (CPU and GPU) and they replaced the palmrest/keyboard/touchpad assembly. The laptop came back with NO stickers on it at all!! I like to keep my laptop in as new condition as possible, and on the palmrest I want the stickers back. I also want the "fingerprint" sticker that was on the upper right side next to the sensor. All the stickers, the Intel 11th gen H, and Nvidia RTX Studio, TUV Certified low bluelight, and fingerprint stickers are currently in use stickers!! They should be able to send those stickers to me. I bought the Intel and Nvidia stickers on eBay, BUT the TUV and fingerprint stickers are not online for me to buy anywhere!
Dell's ProSupport Brandt and his boss Billi claim they cannot send any stickers. I feel my warranty repair is not complete until the stickers are back on my laptop! I know this sounds petty, but I like my laptop to be original!!
Are you there?? Any Dell representatives or moderators on here that watches for new posts? PLEASE let me know where I can get my stickers or who I need to contact!! This issue is NOT resolved!!
