Dell 5530 won't power up

I tried to enter an ssd into the 2nd m.2 slot on my laptop and after inserting it my laptop no longer powers up/turns on it shows no charging light it just shows no signs of life at all, has anyone got any ideas why? I thought it maybe battery cable as it seemed exposed so I ordered a new one and there is no change I can't get it to power on at all

Did you un-install the second M.2 drive and retry?
And hopefully your laptop was turned off when you try to install the second M.2

What you can do now:

1) unplug power supply
2) unplug battery cable from battery AND mainboard
3) press and hold power button for at least 30 seconds
4) reseat RAM moduls
5) reasseble and use only the as good knows first M.2 drive

6) power up and pls post results

Hi I tried this already and nothing mate thanks though it still shows no sign of life at all I can't believe just inserting an SSD can cause such a problem but IV seen something similar on tube with a dell laptop it's a joke tbh
