Dell laptop wont boot from Dock

So, I have a dell laptop connected to a dell docking station and 2 monitors. the Dell laptop wont boot fully when docked. it just shows the dell logo and freezes on the monitor screen. I can unplug the usb-c and the screen will boot from there, then the system will boot fine. I have tried several different bios permutations and none really worked. I just want to be able to power up and down from the docking station without having to unplug and replug in the usb C to the dell docking station.....
