Dell Latitude 7300 downsides compared to 7400

Hello, 

I recently bought a Latitude 7300 for a family member and I was thinking of getting one for myself, but I've always used 14" Latitudes (currently on 7490) and I'm curious if there are any technical downsides to the smaller 7300. Do they run hotter, louder, or anything of that nature that I should keep in mind (aside from obviously the smaller size)?

I ask because I recall reading about some serious heating issues with the 7390 on this forum: https://www.dell.com/community/Latitude/Major-Latitude-7390-problems/td-p/6099762

By default, I expect that machines that differ only in screen size should be identical every other respect (component), but the issues documented with the 7390 made me question that assumption.
